We’ve been dying to share this one: Sweetly Haunted, our biggest Halloween collection yet, launches October 23 at 10:00 am EST.

For this release, we went well beyond a pair of seasonal Esties. Sweetly Haunted brings together two new pens, custom coffin-shaped packaging, ink, notebooks, washi, patches, blotter paper, a plush and more, creating a full Halloween collection for Esterbrook.

We worked with Tesia Royer of Sweet Kawaii Design to bring it to life. Tesia’s work is closely connected to the planner, journaling and kawaii communities, making this collaboration an exciting opportunity to introduce Esterbrook to an even wider group of stationery lovers.

Pastel Halloween takes familiar Halloween imagery like ghosts, bats, moons and pumpkins and gives it a softer palette of pink, lavender, mint and other candy-colored shades. It sits within the broader spooky-cute and pastel goth world that has become especially popular across stationery, planner, journaling and kawaii communities, where customers collect around an aesthetic rather than a single holiday. That gives the collection life beyond October, since the same colors, characters and accessories work year-round for customers already drawn to cute-but-spooky design.
