LEONARDO STEEL NIBS GOLD COLOR ~ Leonardo Officina Italiana fountain pens primarily use JoWo #6 nibs, which are interchangeable and can be easily replaced. These nibs are available in various sizes and finishes, including steel and gold, and can be purchased as complete nib units (nib, feed, and housing). Older Leonardo models may have used Bock nibs, but newer models (from 2021 onward) are designed for JoWo nibs. Leonardo uses JoWo nibs, which are a standard #6 size, making them compatible with many other pens. Leonardo nibs are designed to be easily interchangeable, allowing users to swap nibs for different writing experience. Leonardo nibs are typically sold as complete units, including the nib, feed, and housing, making replacement straightforward. Leonardo switched to JoWo nibs for their pens starting in 2021. Older models may have Bock nibs, which are not compatible with the JoWo units.  Leonardo offers nibs in both steel and 14k gold, with various finishes like silver, rose gold, yellow gold and ruthenium.
