The chunky, almost cigar shaped Faber-Castell e-motion Pure Black propelling pencil sits comfortably in the hand. The barrel is made of anodized aluminum with a laborious guilloche-engraving. Metal cap, tip and clip are matte black chrome-plated. Clip is spring-loaded. The break-resistant 1.4 mm lead is degree B = 2 and is smooth for writing and sketching. It does not require sharpening.
